I’m completely unsure of how this one slipped under my radar. It’s a new-ish track from David Banner that was released earlier this month called “Swag”. Not only does the song have a phenomenal beat produced by Banner himself, but it also makes statements about the use of the cliched term “swag” and about the reflective nature hip hop culture has on society and vice versa. Word has it that this will be on David Banner’s upcoming album The Make Believe Album, which does not yet have a set release date. I have a feeling I’ll be playing this track for awhile though.
