NickiPharrellNellyCheck out another great song with your typical catchy hook and beat by Pharrell.  Pharrell has that unique style and you can almost always tell when it is a Pharrell beat.  With the additions of great individual artists like Nicki Minaj and Nelly then you have a great catchy song.  I also would like to mention that you have to talk about Pharrell having some of the most swag and style in the game to go along with Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Drake, etc.

French Montana does it again.  You want to talk about someone who has some swag google French and look at all the goofy outfits that he rocks!

Another great unknown group of female R&B artists out of the UK, Stooshe. From left to right in the photo above: Karis, Alex, and Courtney.  Boy Courtney has a crazy swagger with the bright colors combined with the emo hair.  It is like Lady Gaga had Nicki Minaj‘s baby…no but in all seriousness this is a pretty good song.  Even though Stooshe is R&B, Pop, and Soul Black Heart is more on the Soul and R&B side.  Look out for them as they hook up with Nicki Minaj in Europe for her tour.

Yep! it has to be our favorite hit on the new Nicki Minaj album Pink Friday.  Check out the song “Roman Reloaded”   that has your typical Nicki going HAM lyrics with a great beat.  Check out ways to purchase it below, trust us it will be money well spent.

This new single released a few weeks ago by Nicki Minaj is taking the artist into a different direction.  The song “Starships” has more of a dance and electronic feel to it.  I have to give credit to Nicki and the producer of this track RedOne for going outside of their comfort zone.  I just hope her new album, Pink Friday:Roman Reloaded, that is released on April 3rd has some killer lyrics like some of Nicki’s other songs do.

What do you think?  Why don’t we get a big debate going!

There were some great performances at the Grammy’s last night with the best being the sendoff at the end.  Catch the video above to check it out.  David Guetta, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, The Foo Fighters, and Deadmau5.  Chris Brown and David threw it down the best followed by The Foo Fighters and Deadmau5.  Deadmau5 did a great dubstep but no one will ever know what that really sounded like until you are actually in a club with the right speaker system.  The worst by far was Lil Wayne, there wasn’t enough of him to really compare him to anyone else.  Chris Brown’s first performance was alright, Adele did what Adele does and was amazing, Jennifer Hudson had the most emotional piece and did a fantastic job on short notice.  ColdplayRihanna, and Niki Minaj were good.  Everyone else was exactly that, not worth mentioning and I think there are some older artists that need to listen to themselves and maybe hang up the mic.
